Ferry port Hvar town
The ferry port in Hvar town, is not actually a ferry port, but simply a mooring point at the end of the Riva it is very easy to find and you will definitely see the catamaran arriving and departing when you are in the harbor area. All ferries to and from Hvar town are passengers only the closest car ferry connection is the one between Split and Stari Grad.
There are several ferry companies operating the routes to and from Hvad any they have different ticket sales locations, Jadrolinija has their own office close to where the catamarans moor, tickets for Krilo ferries are sold at Pelegrini Tours, during summer season there is often a run on the most popular departure times, so you will need to buy ticket ahead, which you course also can do easily online. Important the ticket is only valid for the specific departure it was bought for, you can not use it for another departure of the same carrier!
Note: The mooring point of the catamaran is in a walking zone, if you take a taxi to the port, it will drop you off 500 metres from the catamaran, that last bit you will have to walk!
